I figured I'd put this is the 'movies' section, as it is Sir Ian McKellen playing Gandalf. The reference I used was the from the battle at Helm's Deep (one of my fave scenes)...um, but I blurred out the rest of the fighting in the background because as if I could draw that lol, plus the focus was supposed to be on Gandalf. This was my Christmas gift to my youngest brother. I actually painted a frame for it as well, all gold, with gold fabric leaves in each corner, and white little 'jewel' thingies. I also airbrushed a little green over the frame to 'antique' it. And added a quote from Gandalf to the picture. But here is the raw version, which I'm quite proud of! In fact, doing this helped get me into drawing again, and boosted my confidence, as it turned out so well on the first try!
Disclaimer!!!: J.R.R Tolkien is the genius behind Gandalf, I don't own. Imagine how rich I'd be if I did, though?

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
