This is the second shounen ai drawing I've posted here on DA. My first one, a drawing of Seifer and Squall from FF8 was so well-received, that I'd like to share with you a drawing of Shikamaru and Neji from Naruto. I've read several really good fan fictions about this pairing, and I'm hooked. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of Shikamaru and Temari, or even Shika with Ino, since in Shippuuden, I find her character quite likeable, less shallow. However, I have so many reasons why I think Shikamaru and Neji go so well together, but that's neither here nor there. I drew this in the fall, and I realize the coloring's rather...uh, crap...and I KNOW Shika's head's a bit...off...but I think if I get a chance, I'll try reworking this one with my tablet in the future. It looks better in person, but seeing it scanned, I think it might have to be scrapped...I don't know. I just really love this, and though I've seen some great ShikaNeji art, there really isn't a whole lot out there. So this is me giving this pairing some fangirl love!
Oh! Also, the original title of this is:
Dear Temari, The boy is mine. Love, Neji
LOL!!!
Ok, I'm a fangirl nerd. Shikamaru and Neji belong to Kishimoto-sama
Also, please, if you don't like yaoi, shounen ai, or the pairing, or whatever, please just click the nice back button. Here, we like to be mature.

This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
