I love haunting masks, and rich, elegant costumes. I think deciding to do the 'queens' actually came from reading up on Tim Burton's upsoming Wonderland movie. I decided I wanted to create fantasy queens that were a bit dark and creepy.
My brother suggested I do the knaves and kings as well. I have started the knave of clubs, but that's another post... |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. I think this one's my favorite, too.
The knaves and kings are definitely going to be a challenge, since drawing men is not my strong suit. But it's fun to create outfits for them, so I'll just try harder.
